This Privacy Policy describes how the Al-Ihsan mobile application (“App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App on Android devices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

Al-Ihsan is designed to help Muslims with prayer times, Qibla direction, remembrance (adhkar), and optional features such as nearby mosques and Prayer Gate reminders. The App works primarily on your device. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the App for advertising or behavioral profiling.

2. Data we collect

On-device settings and preferences (e.g., language, theme, calculation method, notifications and Prayer Gate settings).
Prayer-related logs or progress you choose to save (if you use those features).
Cached data to improve performance and offline use where applicable.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect account information such as your name, email address, or username.

3. Data sent to third-party services (over the Internet)

The App needs Internet access to retrieve data and show maps. When you use relevant features, requests may be sent to:

These services are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their servers. Use those features only if you accept that network requests are sent as needed for the feature to work.

Leaflet map scripts may be loaded from unpkg.com when displaying the in-app map (standard web map libraries).

Opening external links (e.g., directions in Google Maps or OpenStreetMap in the browser) is handled by apps or sites outside Al-Ihsan; their privacy policies apply there.

4. Data stored on your device

The App may store information locally on your device, for example:
